Apple Schoolwork (Beta)

Sight Word Cards integrates with Apple's ClassKit framework in Beta, so teachers can try Study and Quiz assignments with progress and score reporting on managed school iPads. This is an opt-in beta; school workflows are still being evaluated through teacher feedback, usage analytics, and crash diagnostics.

Assign word sets — choose which word boxes to assign as activities through Schoolwork
Track student progress — see which students have started, how far along they are, and how they performed on quizzes
Deep-link into activities — when students open an assignment from Schoolwork, they land directly on the right word set, no searching required

You need a school configured for Schoolwork and Managed Apple Accounts. Enable Schoolwork Beta in the app on participating devices. Quiz assignments require Premium. If an assignment or progress report does not work as expected, contact us with the app version, iPadOS version, and the step that failed; please omit student names and assignment content.

How Teachers Use It

Check with your school administrator that Schoolwork is available, then try the beta:

Enable the beta in the app. Open Settings > For Teachers > Enable Schoolwork Beta on participating devices.
Assign a Study box or Quiz through Schoolwork. Choose a word box or quiz scope from the activity catalog.
Students practice on their iPads. They open the assignment, tap through flashcards, listen to pronunciations, and take quizzes at their own pace.
View progress in Schoolwork. Check in on completion rates and quiz results without interrupting practice time.

Sight Word Cards is free to download. All built-in word boxes and grade lists, core flashcards, and the opt-in Schoolwork Beta are available without a Premium purchase.

The optional Premium upgrade is a one-time purchase for unlimited recorded playback with eight voices, configurable quizzes, and unlimited custom lists. Quiz assignments require Premium on the learner’s device.
